A Nigerian man has publicly claimed that Asake’s mother abandoned him at the tender age of three to marry another musician, leaving his father to single-handedly raise him.
In a lengthy and detailed post that has been gaining traction on X, formerly known as Twitter, the man asserted that he has a deep and intimate knowledge of Asake’s family background, including his father, mother, child, baby mama, close relatives, and friends.
He went on to narrate how Asake’s mother allegedly left when he was just three years old, choosing to remarry another musician, while his father took full responsibility for raising him.
According to him, Asake’s father was a dedicated and loving parent who not only cared for his son but also went to great lengths to ensure his well-being. He claimed that Asake’s father often carried him on his back to school and played a significant role in nurturing his early interest in music.
The man further elaborated on the sacrifices made by Asake’s father, stating that he never abandoned his son despite facing numerous challenges. He alleged that Asake’s father was a performer himself, which is where the artist inherited his musical talent. He also mentioned that the father even went as far as selling his car to finance Asake’s education and upbringing.
He wrote: “I will tell you about Asake’s father, his mother, Asake himself, his child, his baby mama, his siblings, his colleagues, and his boss.”
