Media personality, Yinka Theisen, has left social media buzzing after she revealed shocking details about her relationship with popular actor Linc Edochie. She explained that they began dating shortly after he opened up to her about his troubled marriage, claiming that his ex-wife had allegedly been unfaithful and was also a smoker.
Yinka Theisen made these revelations during a heartfelt conversation with Uche Maduagwu following the unexpected end of her relationship with Linc Edochie. She decided to open up about the private details that led to their romance and eventually their public breakup.
Linc Edochie was married to Amaka Paula in December 2010, and the couple has two children together. However, despite what many thought was a perfect union, the marriage faced challenges that ultimately led to their separation. In May 2025, Linc announced his engagement to Yinka Theisen, sparking excitement among fans and colleagues. She alleged that Linc told her his ex-wife had been involved with multiple wealthy men (Alhajis) in Abuja and that she had a serious smoking habit, particularly smoking weed. “What Linc did to me, I’m shocked. I can’t lie to you, I’m shocked. This is a man a lot of people don’t know; the family (Edochie family) had a tragic event recently. And I was there for him. I came to stay with him in Lagos, I supported him. I will just leave it at that because it’s a sensitive thing, and I don’t want to bring out a family secret that a lot of people don’t know about.
“I started a relationship with him after he told me a very, very sad thing about how his wife was sleeping around in Abuja with all the Alhajis, all these things I have text messages of, and that she’s a weed head. She smokes weed every day, and that she withdraws the medication of their last child that had seizures.
“So we became very close in the sense of just emotionally supporting him because I couldn’t believe that a woman would repeatedly cheat on such an awesome man.”
Her emotional outpouring has sparked heated discussions online, with many questioning the authenticity of her claims and others showing sympathy for her situation. The unexpected split and the controversial details she shared have further fueled curiosity and debate among fans, especially considering the respected image of the Edochie family in Nollywood and beyond.
