A Nigerian lady has sparked a heated debate online after publicly berating controversial social commentator, Verydarkman, amid reports of his arrest in Abuja by security operatives.
According to reports by Gistreel, social media erupted in anger and confusion over Verydarkman's sudden arrest, with details of the incident still unclear to the public.
While the incident continues to trend, a lady identified as dagoldenfish on Instagram took a swipe at Verydarkman by questioning his mother’s employment status, following his recent call-out of Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) over unauthorized debits from her account.
She mocked him, asking: “Is she a government worker? If she’s a government worker, she’s obviously working for her pension. If not, why is your mother working for peanuts?”
The lady went further to accuse Verydarkman of lacking shame for bringing the issue to social media and dragging GTBank into the matter publicly.
She added, “If you were giving your mother enough allowance, her money would have been in automatic savings by now.”
