Concern is growing as music legend, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye a.k.a King Sunny Ade, has reportedly been declared missing by his daughter.
Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye, the daughter of the iconic musician, took to her social media page to raise the alarm, accusing her father’s manager and stepbrother, Dayo Adegeye, of being responsible for his disappearance. Damilola expressed grave concern for her father’s well-being, claiming that King Sunny Ade, who is 78 years old, has been out of contact for several weeks. She further revealed that his manager allegedly relocated him between hotels and restricted access to his family, raising fears for his safety.
According to Damilola, she believes her father may be performing under duress and is being forced into situations against his will. She made a series of accusations in her posts, claiming that the music legend had been kidnapped, with her stepbrother Dayo, his mother, brothers Demola and Kenny, as well as his driver Ade, implicated in the alleged crime.
One of her alarming posts reads, “SOS KING SUNNY ADE! HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED!! SOS THE MANAGER (DAYO.)! IS THE CULPRIT ALONG WITH HIS MOTHER, BROTHERS (DEMOLA.) (KENNY.) AND HIS DRIVER ADE.” This post has caused widespread concern, with many followers reacting with shock and urging for the authorities to intervene and investigate the matter promptly.
