Popular reality TV star and entrepreneur, Khloe Abiri, has broken her silence following recent allegations that she physically assaulted her friend during a trip to Spain. Khloe has now come forward to share her own side of the story in response to the public backlash and growing speculation surrounding the incident.
Earlier, reports surfaced online claiming that Khloe had been involved in a heated altercation with her friend, identified as Chizoba, during what was initially planned as a celebratory event. According to the reports, the two had a serious disagreement which allegedly escalated into a case of assault. Eyewitnesses and social media users quickly weighed in, fueling public scrutiny and raising concerns.
In the wake of these developments, Khloe took to her official social media account to address the issue, offering a detailed explanation of the events that unfolded. In her statement, she clarified that the disagreement began during a group outing from their villa to a party venue. Chizoba, wanting to return to the villa, demanded the key from Khloe, who refused at the time, leading to a tense exchange between the two.
Khloe explained that her refusal to hand over the key was not an act of aggression or control, but rather a decision made out of concern for the emotional state of her friend. She emphasized that the situation escalated unexpectedly and was never intended to become physical or hostile.
In a heartfelt message to her fans and the public, she said:
âTo my community, my family, my supporters, and everyone affected by the recent incident,
Iâve spent the last few days in deep reflection about what happened in Lake Como. After a lot of thought and with guidance from my team Iâve decided to speak. Not because I owe gossip any attention, but because I owe the truth to those whoâve stood by me, to the brand Iâve worked tirelessly to build, and most importantly, to myself.â
Khloe went on to explain that the trip to Lake Como was intended to be a joyful occasion â a friendâs wedding celebration â but unfortunately spiraled into drama due to unresolved tensions among some of the guests she had accommodated. She mentioned how she had graciously offered her villa to friends including Sunkanmi and Caramel, in an effort to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
She further stated that she was unaware of the existing conflict between Chizoba and Caramel before inviting them both to stay in the same villa. Her hope was that the close quarters would encourage peace and reconciliation among them. However, things did not go as planned, and the situation quickly deteriorated.
Khloe recounted that during the wedding, she tried to formally introduce the two in hopes of easing the tension, but the effort backfired, leading to a verbal confrontation. When Chizoba demanded to leave and retrieve her belongings, Khloe hesitated to give her the key, hoping instead to calm the situation before it escalated further.
âOut of genuine concern, I held onto the room key. Not to control her but to try and talk before things got worse. I even sent her a Snap message saying: âWe came here to celebrate love, and no one will be left behind,ââ she wrote.
Khloeâs lengthy statement has sparked mixed reactions from fans, with many commending her transparency, while others remain critical. Despite the controversy, she continues to stand by her account of the incident and maintains that her intentions throughout the ordeal were peaceful and considerate.
