The troll took to Twitter to mock the actress, posting her photo alongside a derogatory caption criticizing her marital status. The user shamed Henshaw for being a single woman in her 50s, and warned others to avoid women like her, insinuating that her personal life made her unworthy of respect.

“Any woman who stays unmarried after 50 years is kasogo yeye. Stay away from such women,” the troll wrote, drawing harsh criticism from many Nigerians who found the remark offensive and misogynistic.

The same user also accused Henshaw of attempting to sabotage Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during the elections, by supporting Peter Obi. The post read: “Decorum when Kate actually dabbed to set Sanwo Olu that hasn’t done anything to her up because he decided to put Peteru in his place? While I may find Chigozirim’s response offensive and derogatory, however, political terrain is more wilder than that. Na aunty Kate cuz am.”

Refusing to stay silent, Henshaw responded directly to the troll, identified as Chigozirim Aliyu, with a bold clap back: “Chigozirim Aliyu, they say you have a killer in your family? Is this true? Kindly explain pls.”

Henshaw’s response quickly gained traction online, with many fans and followers praising her for standing her ground and challenging online harassment and misogyny. The exchange has since sparked widespread discussions on social media about gender bias, cyberbullying, and the double standards faced by single women in public spaces.
