Jesy Nelson, the renowned British singer and former member of the iconic girl group Little Mix, has shared joyful news with her fans and well-wishers as she officially announced the birth of her twin daughters, Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, with her partner, Zion Foster.
The announcement came through a heartwarming Instagram post where Jesy introduced the world to her newborn girls, drawing an outpouring of love and congratulatory messages from fans, celebrities, and colleagues across the globe.
According to Jesy, the twins made their entrance into the world earlier than expected, arriving prematurely at just 31 weeks and 5 days gestation on May 15, 2025. Despite their early arrival, the babies are in good health and under medical care, showing strong signs of progress.
Jesy accompanied her announcement with intimate photos capturing the special moment she and Zion held their newborns for the first time. In her caption, she expressed immense gratitude and emotion for their safe delivery and strength. She wrote, “Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days. It all happened so quickly but we are blessed that they are here with us healthy and fighting strong. We never felt so much love.”
The singer’s pregnancy journey has been anything but easy. She revealed earlier in March 2025 that she underwent emergency surgery due to complications caused by Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS), a rare and potentially serious condition affecting monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA) twins, where they share the same placenta but have separate amniotic sacs.
Throughout the pregnancy, Jesy remained transparent and open about her struggles and fears, frequently updating fans about her experiences and the medical interventions needed to protect her children. Her resilience and openness have since inspired countless fans.
Jesy’s decision to name her daughters Ocean and Story reflects her creative personality and emotional connection to symbolic, meaningful names. Supporters have praised her strength, honesty, and bravery throughout her journey into motherhood.
