The Jos-born rapper made this known during a recent interview with renowned content creator, Isbaeu, on the engaging podcast show titled ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask.’ Ice Prince didn’t hold back as he spoke passionately about the role M.I Abaga played in grooming his talent and building his confidence as a rapper.

According to Ice Prince, M.I Abaga didn’t just mentor him casually but took his time to teach him everything he needed to know about rap, music delivery, and lyrical artistry. He referred to M.I as the best rapper and expressed gratitude for being under his tutelage for several years.

“I can rap on any beat with any rapper, and I will still stand out. I’m not going to have a wack verse on a song,” Ice Prince confidently said during the interview. “I am not saying other rappers cannot rap, but it cannot be said that I’m wack. I was brought up by the best, shout out to MI Abaga.”

He further emphasized that his years of experience rapping side by side with M.I Abaga gave him the versatility and edge to hold his own in any rap cypher or collaboration, regardless of who he’s paired with.

“I rapped with him for years. He is my big brother, and he taught me well,” Ice Prince added, paying tribute to the mentorship and brotherhood that shaped his music journey.
