In a video sighted on the official YouTube channel of Babaibe TV during an interview, Alagbe revealed how the rejections by some of his colleagues affected him deeply.

He explained that he began his filmmaking career with English series movies on television channels, and often, when he was invited by other actors to feature in their movies, he would be given scripts. However, they would later confess that he was a good actor but stated that he was too skinny for the roles. The rejection, according to him, left him in tears many times, as he felt helpless about his physical appearance.

In his statement, he said, “I started my filmmaking career with English series movies on television channels. Sometimes when some actors invite me to feature in their movies and I’m given a movie script to work with, they always confess that I’m a good actor. Some actors said I have a small body and I’m too skinny, so they refused to give me movie roles. The rejection I got made me cry so many times because I’m not God, who created me this way.”

The rejection and emotional toll Habeeb faced in the early stages of his career highlight the struggles many actors go through to fit certain physical expectations, regardless of their talent.
