Nollywood actress, Grace Bassey, has reached a new milestone as she officially joins the US Navy and becomes a United States citizen. This achievement marks a powerful turning point in her life and career.
The 33-year-old film star, formerly known as Belinda Effah, took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her followers. She announced that she has successfully completed the rigorous US Navy boot camp and is now serving as a sailor.
In her heartfelt post, Grace appeared in full military uniform and expressed deep appreciation to God, her family, and all those who supported her throughout her journey. Her transition from screen star to service member was fueled by purpose and determination.
According to Grace Bassey, this accomplishment is especially meaningful as it pays tribute to her late father, Naval officer Aide Bassey Effah, whose legacy continues to inspire her.
