Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, recently took to social media to call out a hair vendor who photoshopped her images from the high-profile wedding finale of Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux.
The glamorous wedding finale, which took place in Tanzania, was attended by numerous notable figures from the entertainment industry as well as dignitaries, making it one of the most talked-about events in recent times.
The hair vendor, known on Instagram as My Hairven, shared a series of photoshopped images where she replaced Funke Akindele’s face with her own, in an attempt to showcase her style and makeup while claiming to have attended the wedding.
In the caption accompanying the photos, My Hairven wrote, “Tanzania called and I answered. Congratulations once again @iyaboojofespris @its.priscy. Rate my outfit. Make up by @alvinoflagos__official. Help me tag @funkejenifaakindele cos we wore the same dress yesterday.” This statement implied she was physically present at the wedding, which was misleading.
Reacting to this, Funke Akindele playfully responded in the comment section of the post, calling My Hairven a ‘criminal’ for the audacious Photoshop move.
