Popular Nigerian television host, Frank Edoho, widely known for hosting the game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," has officially confirmed the end of his second marriage to Sandra Onyenuchenuya.
During a candid conversation on the latest episode of the ‘Tea With Tay’ podcast, Edoho opened up about his personal life and revealed details that many fans had long speculated about. The respected TV presenter admitted that despite his best efforts in both marriages, he has now come to terms with the fact that they did not work out as he had hoped.

Frank Edoho attributed his marital struggles to possibly not being naturally suited for marriage, suggesting that the two women he married were not truly his soul mates. In a deeply reflective moment, he shared his thoughts on the difference between a "love of your life" and a "soul mate."
“Maybe I’m not good at marriage, I must confess. The two women I had been married to are not my soul mates. Love of your life is different from your soul mate. The love of your life is the person who comes to your mind when you think of love,” he explained during the podcast episode.
He elaborated further, noting that while one can deeply love someone, it does not necessarily mean they are your soul mate. According to him, a soul mate is someone who understands you on a deeper, more intuitive level — someone who truly connects with you beyond surface-level affection.
Frank Edoho’s first marriage was to Katherine Obiang, a broadcaster and actress, from 2004 until 2011. The union produced three children before they went their separate ways amid public scrutiny and media attention.
In April 2014, Edoho tied the knot with his second wife, Sandra Onyenuchenuya. Together, they had two children. Additionally, Sandra had a daughter from a previous relationship, whom Edoho embraced and cared for as his stepdaughter.
Throughout the podcast, Edoho spoke with striking honesty and vulnerability, acknowledging his shortcomings and expressing that he might not have been destined for marital life. He also shared that despite the personal setbacks, he has continued to grow and learn more about himself and relationships in general.
Fans and followers have responded to the revelation with a mixture of shock, sympathy, and support, praising him for his transparency and courage in speaking openly about such a private aspect of his life. Many have also used this moment to engage in conversations about love, compatibility, and the complexities of marriage.
As Edoho moves forward, he emphasized the importance of self-discovery and finding true connection with the right partner — someone who can be both the love of your life and your soul mate.
