Nigerian disc jockey, music producer, and philanthropist, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about her journey of personal growth and self-improvement, which she attributes to the departure of certain individuals from her life.

She described this process as a form of “fasting,” likening it to a necessary sacrifice that allows one to thrive. According to her, not everyone is meant to stay in one’s life forever, and recognizing this can be a pivotal step in personal development and success.
Sharing her experience, DJ Cuppy stated:
“I’ve removed certain people from my life, or they left me… It was scary at first, but honestly, I feel like I’ve progressed so much because of it.”
The billionaire heiress further stressed the significance of prioritizing one's peace and well-being. She clarified that distancing oneself from negative influences is not an act of selfishness but rather a necessary step toward achieving personal growth, mental clarity, and emotional stability.
