Prominent Nigerian human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, has taken to social media to recount his recent memorable encounter with celebrated Nigerian music mogul, Don Jazzy, praising the producer’s humility and warmth.
In a heartfelt post shared via his official Facebook page, Deji Adeyanju detailed how their paths crossed unexpectedly in Accra, Ghana, where the two public figures happened to be in the same space. According to Deji, what struck him most was not just meeting Don Jazzy, but the fact that it was the Mavin Records boss who noticed him first and made the effort to reach out and greet him warmly.
Adeyanju expressed his admiration for Don Jazzy’s approachable nature, contrasting it with the often distant attitudes displayed by some other celebrities of similar status. He noted that while many in Don Jazzy’s position might act aloof or ignore others in public spaces, Don Jazzy proved himself different by initiating a friendly conversation despite Deji initially having his back turned to him.
