Nigerian influencer Chioma Goodhair has advised Nigerian performers to learn from Priscilla Ojo’s husband, Juma Jux, after describing them as lazy. Chioma's comments came in light of the recent Headies awards, where Juma Jux was honored with the Best East African Artist of the Year award.
This recognition for Juma Jux has sparked a conversation about the work ethic of Nigerian performers, with Chioma taking to her Snapchat to share her views. She expressed her concerns about the lack of effort many Nigerian artists put into their performances. According to Chioma, most Nigerian performers don’t take rehearsals seriously, which results in their performances lacking substance and energy, something she believes Juma Jux exemplifies. She particularly mentioned how Juma's consistency and hard work set him apart from many Nigerian artists.
In her post, Chioma wrote, “I wish Nigerian performers would start putting more effort into their performances like Juma did. I find a lot of their performances lazy and lackluster. It lacks rehearsal and substance. And it's unfair considering the love their fans show…” She expressed her desire for Nigerian artists to improve their craft and take inspiration from Juma Jux’s dedication, highlighting that he invests time and energy into rehearsals and refining his performances.

Chioma's critique of Nigerian performers comes as part of her ongoing commentary on the entertainment industry. Her call for Nigerian artists to raise their standards and work harder to match the energy and commitment of artists like Juma Jux has caught the attention of many in the entertainment scene.
