Nollywood actress Beverley Ada Mary Osu has opened up about the reasons why she prefers dating older men over younger ones, revealing some unexpected and candid reasons behind her choice.

According to the actress, she feels more secure and taken care of when dating older men, as they are more likely to provide her with the financial support she desires.
Beverley further explained that her decision not to date younger men or men her own age is rooted in her desire for quality time and attention. She emphasized that she values the time spent with a partner and feels that older men are more capable of giving her the attention she craves, which younger men may not be able to provide.
During the interview, Beverley also revealed that one of her past relationships—dating a married man—was one that did not work out for her. She confessed that she struggles to pretend or hide her feelings, which made being involved with a married man difficult for her. Beverley continued, saying: “I still date men who are older than me, but the older men I have dated were just my boyfriends, and there was nothing like a serious relationship between us. I don’t want to be another woman’s sadness, and I love attention and quality time with a man. Dating another woman’s husband has never worked out for me, so the older men I have dated were not sugar daddies. I still prefer dating older men because I want them to give me money and feed me. I don’t know how to pretend to love somebody, and I don’t want to be indebted to any man.”
