Renowned Nollywood actor, Baba Tee, has publicly addressed allegations linking him to an affair with content creator Lande’s wife following the skit maker’s highly publicized marital breakdown.
Lande had previously made shocking claims that his wife had been intimate with at least 21 senior industry colleagues, a list that allegedly included Baba Tee.
In reaction to the accusations, Baba Tee took to social media in a now-viral video, categorically denying any involvement with Lande’s wife. He also challenged Lande to provide concrete proof to support his claims.
“I have never met Lande’s wife all my life until mid last year when Marygold brought her to my house. She introduced her to me as a skitmaker and an upcoming artiste,” Baba Tee explained.
He further disclosed that he was unaware of her relationship with Lande until much later, and only then did he realize he was being dragged into the controversy.
“It was later I found out that she was Lande’s wife. After that, I saw Lande calling me out, saying he used to prostrate and respect me in the industry. I have only seen Lande once in my life,” he added, emphasizing his limited interactions with both individuals.
Baba Tee maintained his innocence, stressing that the allegations against him were baseless and had no merit. He went on to dare Lande to present any verifiable evidence of his claims to the public.
“If Lande has any proof, let him bring it forward. I am not one to be falsely accused without fighting back. This is pure defamation, and I won’t let it slide,” Baba Tee stated firmly.
The controversy has since sparked intense debates among fans and industry colleagues, with social media users sharing mixed reactions to the unfolding drama.
