In his emotional message, Charles began by showering praises on 2Baba, highlighting his calm, loving, and humble personality. He described 2Baba as someone who constantly prioritizes the happiness of others above his own comfort, and who consistently avoids unnecessary drama, even at the cost of his own peace. According to Charles, 2Baba’s gentle nature often leads him to accept blame and remain silent in situations where he is unfairly painted as the villain, just to protect the real offenders around him.
Charles went on to draw a powerful analogy, likening his brother to a "modern-day Jesus" who silently endures betrayal and emotional pain to shield loved ones from public scrutiny and backlash. He insisted that despite his brother's fame and success, 2Baba has remained pure-hearted and selfless, often sacrificing his own well-being to keep the peace in his personal relationships and professional life.
However, the tone of Charles’s letter shifted sharply as he voiced serious concerns about the singer’s personal life. Charles accused a woman—widely believed to be 2Baba’s current partner—of being the main source of emotional turmoil in his brother’s life. It can never be a crime to safe yourself , to move on from where you were almost loosing your life and soul , but you haven’t moved on , you have been captured , captured from inside the frying pan to an industrial furnace …so my heart bleeds .It’s one thing for a girlfriend to snoop in your phone and read messages out of curiosity or for other relationship reasons ( it can even come off as cute ), but a girlfriend who breaks into your phone to announce your divorce , because she had doubts about you going through with it , who posts and deletes a picture of herself on your socials and ask Nigerians to help you beg her to marry her while you sleep , who clones your what’sapp , deletes messages she doesn’t like and replies messages pretending to be you to steam roll her agendas ,a control freak inside your emails and your accounts , who convinces you to abandon your management and businesses in Lagos and move to Abuja , just to become her arm candy and dragged all over Benin and to places the real you will definitely not go , who would make you defend lies and tolerate chaos , who would sabotage your business trips, …who would do a whole lot of rubbish ( I will not mention here out of shame )and hide under your name, who would adopt your Surname , tell strangers , and whoever cares to listen,that she is your wife while you are still legally….”
